Kenya Volleyball Federation has announced that the suspended women league will resume soon officials vote to extend their stay in office for another three months.
In an Annual General Meeting held today the national excutive Committee announced that the women league will resume on November 11 while the new season for their male counterparts is slated to kick off on serve off December 9.
The women’s league has been on recess since May paving way for Malkia Strikers to attend a two-month High-Performance Training in Brazil prior to their participation in the World Championship in September.
Elsewhere, the NEC announced their office extension for the KVF current officeholders are required to amend the constitution, assist county associations and clubs to register as well as ensure public participation.
“The AGM agreed that there was a need to amend the constitution further to align with the Sports Act as advised by the Registrar of Sports,” a letter by KVF read in part.
” As advised by the Registrar of Sports, the registered county associations will have three interim officials eligible to vote. The top tier national league teams also have a representation of three officials per team who will be eligible to vote.”
